The Woodlands Waterway is a scenic oasis that offers a combination of both function and recreation to The Woodlands’ downtown area.
The Waterway connects some of the area’s most popular destinations: Waterway Square, The Woodlands Mall, The Woodlands Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Waterway Square is home to many major employers in The Woodlands, such as American Financial & Automotive Services, Woodforest National Bank, and Anadarko Petroleum.

Entertainment
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is a non-profit outdoor concert
amphitheater that has hosted a wide selection of first-class performing arts and contemporary artists. The amphitheater sits adjacent to The Woodlands’ Town Center area, and is surrounded by both Market Street and The Woodlands Waterway.
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion can accommodate over 16,500 people. It is also considered among the most heavily used amphitheaters in the world.
The venue hosts over 75 events each year, including acts from nearly every genre, from rock to country, opera to jazz, and more. The well-known concert venue has hosted several performances from famous artists such as Elton John, Cher, Rod Stewart, Bette Midler, and the Houston Symphony, just to name a few.
