Mother Daughter Tea Party

Play games, create a craft, and spend quality time together at the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming. Girls, bring your favorite doll or stuffed animal to share your tea party fun! Refreshments will be provided. Unplug and tune in to old-fashioned family fun! The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreaton is excited to announce they will be hosting a monthly game night at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with your family and friends playing Bingo, Bunko, board games and more! Snacks and water provided. Open to all ages, fee: $5 per person, per night. This Sunday it’s time for the 7th Annual Woodlands Township Sandcastle Building Contest!! You bring the shovels, and the Township will bring the sand! Judging will take place during the intermission. No cost to participate!

 

 

The Woodlands CrawPHish Festival

The 8th annual The Woodlands CrawPhish Festival will be held at Town Green Park on Saturday, March 24. The CrawPhish Festival is produced in partnership with the Cure PH (Pulmonary Hypertension) and The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network.

Attendees will enjoy crawfish, fried alligator, jambalaya, desserts, as well as a kid-friendly menu, and a variety of refreshments while enjoying a live performances. A designated children’s area usually includes such fun activities as a giant bouncing moonwalk, an inflatable slide, face painting and more. From crawfish races to painting and snow cones to cotton candy, children will enjoy the festival as the adults take in the great music and food at The Woodlands CrawPHish Festival!

Tickets are available at $35 per person for ages 13 and up – to include one plate of food and two drink tickets (must be 21+ to redeem for alcoholic beverages); $20 for entry only tickets; children under age 12 are admitted free (admission does not include food or drink; food and drink tickets available at event). Pre-purchased tickets are strongly encouraged. Limited tickets will be available the day of the event at an increased cost. Please note that outside food and beverages are not permitted within festival area. Pre-purchase The Woodlands CrawPhish Festival tickets are available through March 23. Tickets are available online, as well as at the Chamber offices (9320 Lakeside Blvd., Bldg 2, Suite 200; The Woodlands 77381), and Stibbs & Co. (819 Crossbridge Drive, Spring 77373). As with all events held at Town Green Park, please remember that parking is not allowed at the HEB/Market Street parking lot across the street, and towing is enforced. Free and paid parking is available at a variety of parking lots and garages a short distance away from the park.

Father-Son Challenge

Work together to complete all the challenges around the campus and be rewarded with refreshments! Soggy Doggy Swim Day

Calling all dog lovers! Come out to Creekwood Park in Panther Creek on Saturday, April 29 for Soggy Doggy Swim Day!

Bring your dog for a splash in the pond, doggie activities, a doggie costume contest and more! All pets must be kept on a leash and must be up to date on shots. Pre-registration required. People and pets of all ages are welcome, however all pets must be accompanied by an adult ages 18 and up. The Gorilla Hole @ The Woodlands Recreation Center

Located on Research Forest Drive just west of Gosling Road, The Gorilla Hole Pre-Teen Night-time Activity program at The Woodlands Recreation Centeroffers younger residents a place to have fun and make friends. The Gorilla Hole Social Club provides Woodlands kids a chance to play games, listen to music and hang out in a safe and supervised environment.

 It’s a night out for kids… and a break for the parents! The Gorilla Hole has been a Woodlands tradition for more than 20 years. Dress code and proper behavior enforced. This activity is only available to children in 5th and 6th grade and all attendees must be checked in and out by a parent or guardian. Entry Fee is $7.00 per person, food and drink are available at additional cost. Activities vary; soccer balls, basketballs, etc. are available for use (weather permitting).
