This 28th annual Thanksgiving morning tradition features 1-mile, 3-mile and 5-mile run options for participants of all ages. Hosted by the YMCA of Greater Houston, top finishers receive cash and awards, and everyone who crosses the finish line receives a medal. 7:45 a.m. $25-$55. Home for the Holidays will be from November 11th to December 23rd, 2017. We are busy getting ready for lots of great entertainment and family fun! The 2016 celebration was a great success that featured a brightly lit community with lots of family-friendly activities! This year’s entertainment will bring wonderful Christmas music on our stage, a Petting Zoo, Santa’s House, complimentary Hot Cocoa stands and so much more!!
The Woodlands Ice Rink -Ice Skating in Town Center
The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center is located in its brand new, 21,000 square foot permanent home at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, 77380, near the north gate entry of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and the intersection of Lake Robbins Drive and Six Pines Drive. The new multi-purpose facility features ice skating in a main room with lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, tables for parties, and concessions.Open from November 18, 2017 through January 15, 2018, the coolest place to be in the Winter is The Ice Rink At The Woodlands Town Center, one of the largest seasonal ice rinks in the southwest.

The Woodlands Resort hosts this annual family-friendly event with carolers singing traditional Christmas songs, a visit from Santa Claus and the lighting of the resort’s professionally-decorated, 20-foot Christmas tree. 6-8 p.m. Free.
